I started this blog in May when I was living in New York’s East Village. I’d recently become friends with Will Calcutt—he took the majority of the photos I posted early this year—whose friendship, and this blog’s inception, couldn’t have come at a better time. I was lost and a little lonely as I navigated this new city.
My very first post hinted at homesickness. I missed my friend Jen Kim and the fun we’d had in NYC.
As 2013 comes to a close I’m back in New York. This time I know my way around and have friends to foil the loneliness, including a back-from-abroad Jen Kim.
It’s looking like a good start—hood up, year down.
The Nuvola sofa collection by Gervasoni feels like a giant pillow. The goose down and polyester fibre exterior creates quite possibly the most comfortable couch. Read more about the piece of furniture here.
